The Pied Piper (Missoula Children's Theater)

So the kids were in a production of "The Pied Piper" done by Missoula Children's Theater (MCT, not to be confused with Margaret Christine Tarkington). MCT (two directors plus a truck-load of stuff) travels to a new elementary school every Monday. They do auditions after school on Monday, with practices starting that evening, and every afternoon and evening after that until Saturday morning when they do the dress rehearsal with two performances later that day. Then they pack up and go to another school (often in a different state) to start the same production over again. They do this for 18 weeks in a row! (makes for a slim family-life, eh?)
Here is Robert in the middle of the line of children his age, repeating a line to the two directors.
Below, you see Matthew and his friend, Kent Jr., playing with the toys that Kent Jr brought with him (Matthew was in awe of Kent's Mack, because Matthew does not have a Mack). I was thrilled that Kent had brought so many toys, seeing as the auditions went an hour and a half.

Emma got the part of a cook, Elizabeth became a townschild, and Joseph and Robert both got to be RATS! They were all pleased with their parts (although Robert was always changing his mind whether he was really going to do it or not).
